They also run courses for fire brigades/ building control and private sector, including courses on fire alarm standards, especially BS 5839-1, inspection of fire alarm systems (for inspecting officers), emergency lighting, sprinklers, and a basic fire safety induction course. A number of these courses have IFE approval.
